Why should I use photographs on my website? What type of images should I use? These are questions that come to the mind when trying to step out into the web for the first time, or even creating a new look for an existing site. The answers are plain and simple. First, as to why you need photographs, it is because imagery plays a vital role in decision making for a consumer. It shows the consumer a world outside of the internet. It brings your existing information to life. As for which photos to use, that is for you and/or your photographer to decide. You may want to convey a specific idea or mood through a certain image, whether they be simple and easy, such as a portrait, or dramatic and artistic, expressing those ideas in new and intruiging ways.
